Active-on-site visitors were being completely ignored. Customers browsing the site were showing strong purchase intent and receiving nothing. Revenue from this segment was zero.
EDD also had both SMS subscribers and email-only contacts in the same list. A one-size-fits-all approach would double-message some and miss others entirely.

The person behind the numbers
I am Zia, a Klaviyo Partner Certified lifecycle marketing strategist based in Lahore, Pakistan, working remotely with ecom brands in the US, Australia, and beyond.
My background is in marketing (BSc, Forman Christian College) but what shaped my career was going deep into the technical side of email — flows, segmentation, conditional logic, deliverability. I became obsessed with building systems that keep working after you set them up.
Over 3 years at Event Decor Direct and IWED, I owned the full lifecycle engine. Not just executing campaigns, but architecting automation systems, managing cross-functional teams of 30 people, and tying everything back to revenue attribution.
I am the kind of person who notices that a segment of active-on-site visitors is generating zero revenue and builds a flow to fix it. Then watches it generate $245K.
